KEY OBJECTIVE: :
Perform Installation/Upgrade/Sanity Check, Function Testing, Performance Testing, New Feature Evaluation for Oracle Server products including CRS/RAC/Goldengate, working with Oracle Japan and global development teams to deliver Oracle server products with high quality.
Job Description:
Design and implement installation/regression/function test suites for the products.
Execute test suites on Windows/Linux/Unix to discover defects in the products.
Evaluate new feature of product and writing relevant documents
Cooperate with global development teams to track and fix the bugs.
Communicate with Oracle Japan to make sure products?quality is satisfied by Japanese customers
Verify requests from Japan partner and provide technical support
Required Skill Areas:
BS or above in computer science or equivalent
Extensive experience with Unix platforms
Solid Oracle database experience
DB2 and Sybase experience will be a big plus
Good English communication skills, especially in writing, listening and verbal. CET 6 or equivalent.
Japanese will be a plus
Excellent analytical skills and problem solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
Exhibits good project planning and time management skills
Self-Motivated, Thorough and creative.
