Position Description

The Software Engineer duties include working with Oracle's database technology and development tools to build, maintain and support different components / subsystems of one large scale of e-Commerce systems in US. This position is a great opportunity to gain experience working in a challenging online retail environment with large scale databases and high transaction rates (millions per day). He/She will help in every stage of the project lifecycle -- gather requirements, design, develop, test and support the application, which includes being on call one week every few weeks to provide 24/7 support. He/She is responsible for hitting deadlines and keeping assignments on track.
